abouT competition
One World by the Sea School Competition is run in conjunction with One World By The Sea 2018 festival.
The competition seeks to explore and celebrate the international culture and diversity of our local community, and to show Bournemouth and Poole as an area which welcomes international students and visitors.
THE BRIEF
Each school group registered for the competition will be designated a country. The group will then be asked to do some research into the designated country and show us how they would like to see the positive aspects of that country represented around Bournemouth and Poole.
For example, to show what might happen "if Australia came here", the students might draw or paint a certain building decorated with aboriginal art, or make a model of a bandstand in a local park, adapted with some features of the Sydney Opera House and some Australian-themed music playing.
The competition deadline is 22nd June.
